ch. 34 Raising a kid

Flying through the sky, Krillin used his Ki to and had Piccolo Jr ride next to him on the Purple nimbus.

The tiny namekian glared at him but Krillin didn't care, he was too busy planning his future out. Arriving at Korins tower, Krillin grabbed Piccolo Jr. by the illusionary cloth that he made and stored the nimbus into his storage.

The young namekian fought and tried to break free from Krillins hand, so Krillin allowed it to. Letting go of his hand, Krillin watched as Piccolos eyes widen and the realization that he was falling to his death set it.

Before the namekian fell too far, Krillins swooped in and saved him and continued flying up to Kami's lookout.

"You throw another tantrum and I really will let you fall to your death, you got that!" Piccolo Jr. Just turned his head angrily at Krillins remark but laid limp as he got carried upwards.

Arriving at the lookout of God, Krillin was surprised as both Popo and Kami waited for him. They both had terrified look on their faces as they saw the little green namekian in Krillins hand.

"Krillin is that King Piccolo! I knew he'd broken free but not his location! Quick we must have the disciple of Mutaito seal him away before he grows too strong!" Kami urged as he walked towards piccolo.

Pushing Piccolo Jr away from Kami's grasp, Krillin explained.

"This isnt Demon King Piccolo, this is his son/reincarnation. I call him Piccolo Jr. and he hasn't done anything evil yet." Piccolo Jr looked at Krillin sticking up for him in a confused expression.

"You don't understand Krillin, Piccolo Jr has all of the memories from the Demon King Piccolo! He might seem Innocent now but when he grows up and becomes stronger, he will unleash terror across the world and issue us into another century long massacre!" Kami took another step towards Piccolo Jr.

Kami already felt incredibly shameful and pathetic for all of the human deaths that he caused inadvertently by splitting Demon King Piccolo out of him, centuries of death and torture by Piccolo and he could do nothing about it. That was then, but now he had a chance to stop him before he went on another massacre!

"Kami trust me, I'll raise little Piccolo here properly. There's no need to seal him away only for him to escape in the future now full of hatred." Saying this, Krillin lightly Piccolos head like a pet, only for the young namekian to reach forward and tried to bite his hand!

"No Piccolo, bad Piccolo! You try to bite me again and I'll leave you here with Kami!" This immediately causs the namekian to stop, his face one of complete rage.

After saying this Krillin waited a second before once again patting Piccolos head, the namekian looked up with eyes full of hatred but he didn't bite Krillins hand this time.

"See kami, Piccolo Jr can change. You just gotta show him the proper way, besides even if he were to turn evil I'll be there to stop him!" Krillin powered up and stopped supressing any of his Ki.

Popo, Kami, and Piccolo Jr felt shock at the overwhelming power Krillin emitted, his powerlevel was just under 2800 but the quality of Ki was much denser than Kami or Popo had even seen from a human! This was the strongest being any of them had seen in their entire long lives, and Krillin was just 17!

"I see... We'll go with your method for now, but please keep him out of trouble." Kami felt responsible for every death Piccolo caused.

"Of course I will, now for why I actually came here... I was wondering if you can talk King Yemma into giving Goku his body in the afterlife, he'll eventually be revived with the dragon balls so I wanted him to train at North Kai's planet." Kami's eyes narrowed listening to Krillin.

"How is it you know so much about afterlife affairs and even the North Kai, a human wouldn't know so much" looking at Piccolo Jr and Krillin, Kami wonder if some trickery was going on.

"I am the disciple of Annin after all, she taught me a lot under her training." Krillin said trying his best to keep a straight face.

'I forgot about pretending to be ignorant of the otherworld affairs!'

"I see... We'll I planned on having Yemma keep Goku's body, the boys heart is pure and deserves that much. But for him to train at King Kai's planet, that seems like a good idea."

Krillin was glad that Kami agreed to his request, after all in the original plot it was only after Goku killed King Piccolo and died saving the planet from Raditz that Kami request Yemma to allow Goku to keep his body. It seems like Kami favoured Goku aside from Goku being a Hero of earth.

"Thank you Kami! And when you meet with Goku again, tell him I'm coming to join him on snake road!" Kami's confusion grew deeper but before he could ask any questions, Krillin picked piccolo up and jumped off the lookout!

"That boy....just how does he plan on getting into the otherworld?" Kami watched Krillin fly off with Piccolo in tow.

Looking down at the stone orb that was in the side of a mountain, Krillin put it into his storage with a smile.

"With this inactive Dragon ball we're all set on our adventure to hell Piccolo! I got the training supplies, I just killed a dozen large dinosaurs so we'll be good for food, and I bought thousands of Gallons of prestine drinking water!" Krillin looked over at Piccolo who was chomping down on a handful of hard candies.

"I said your supposed to suck on them to savour the flavour, not bite down o- ah it doesnt matter." The green boy just shot Krillin a glared before he kept shoveling the hard candy into his mouth and crunching down on them.

Krillin knew it would take Piccolo Jr just 3 years to fully grow into an adult, that meant he had three years to mold him and have him skip over his villain arc. He figured that feeding him sweet treats would help the little demon King incarnate lose his evil edge.

'We are gonna need to get past the gatekeeper of hell, Master Annin, and enter hell in the otherworld. Then it'll be relatively easy to escape hell as I just have to fly upward and onto snake road!'

Krillin didnt know how it worked but it was shown multiple times in the series that while sinners, no matter how stronger they are, are unable to exit hell but people who aren't sinner can leave relatively easy.
