Doing jobs are So tiring.
Every morning I wake up and go to work repeatedly.
No rest.
But it's not that bad, I get money and meet people.
I work 24 part-time jobs in a month, which is average.
but there is one job that I always go back to or more or less must go back to.
...
Walking down the street past sparkling clothing brand stores to ten stories hotels and finally a pizza place.
A run-down, dead pizza place.
In front, there are a bunch of thugs and gang bangs hanging always.
"Yo, you got a light?" A thug asked me.
"Huh?" I turned to him,
I reached into my front pocket and took out a lighter.
"Yeah, light me up too." Another asked.
I lit their cigarettes and they puffed smoke into the sky.
"Those cancer sticks aren't good for you."
Putting the lighter back.
"That's the thing, these aren't cigarettes." He pointed,
"Hmm? What are they then?" I was a little confused.
"This is a synthetic weed that just came out. It smells like a cigarette and tastes like one."
But looking into their eyes I eye see there telling the truth, they were high.
No cigarette can do that.
I walked away into the alley aside.
"Thanks!" They called from behind throwing a blunt at me.
I caught it and chuckled.
What am I doing with my life?
And why am I talking like I'm not one of these thugs, that's why they're so friendly.
Ok, I'm in a gang called the Seventh. Or FTB as the oppositions say it.
Got a tattoo of it on my back, to mean gang till I die.
I've been here for a while, at least, since I came back.
The gang is mainly docile but is ready to protect their own.
Like a family.
Drug selling, human trafficking, blood-spilling.
Right, a family.
"Here." Vito dropped a pizza box and a large bag in my hands.
He tapped it.
"The address is on the box, and you know the spot."
"Can you be a little more gentle?"
"..."
He just turned around without answering.
"Ay, and here's your gun I borrowed."
He handed me back my 1911 with a silencer.
"Tell me why you need it again Vito. And why is it dirty?" Ew.
I slipped it into my waist.
"Just fuck off and get the job done yuh bloody dumb wit. "
*Slam!*
He closed the door in my face.
Smh.
I started my motorcycle and rode off to the locations.
...
I pulled up to the location,
It was a suburban area covered in Castle like houses.
But this one was the biggest of them all.
"Why would a place like this order pizza?"
"A tea party would be better suite-suited?"
Ringing the doorbell.
I knocked on the door once, twice and, I'm gone.
Resting the box on the steps and made my way out.
I heard muffled voices inside, almost like a party.
"I'm getting it, I'm getting it. Wait for a second."
A voice giggled.
I didn't turn around and I kept walking.
Hope they have a good time,
I gotta go to the harbor to drop off this bag, they must be waiting for me.
But in my tracks, a pair of arms held me in place me.
"Huh?" I attempted to turn around.
"Aura?"
"Yo, long time no see." I smiled, "It has been a while,"
I felt the trembling of her palms around my waist.
"Months..." Again she whispered.
"Huh?" I did not hear her.
"W-What's your name?" She stuttered.
Oh,
"...hmmm my name?" I looked at her dead in her eyes.
"It's Aura," I smirked.
Awkward silence completely involved the atmosphere.
Then suddenly,
She bit my hand again on the same spot.
"Ow!" I clutched my wrist. "Again?"
I think she noticed the pain I was in from my helpless cries because,
she kissed the wound on my hand.
Still holding her I got a good look at her appearance.
She was light dark-skinned, has black charcoal eyes, pastel pink lips, and had on a sundress.
Her hair stood out the most with black and white on the upper parts of her hair.
And hair black and white eyes matching her hair.
It has come to a point where I have a feeling to trust her but,
I don't know her.
Running away, she stopped at her doorstep.
"You know guns aren't allowed in our country right?"
She had taken my gun from my waist while she held me.
"Your fingerprints are now on it." I tried to scare her.
But, she doubled down in my face,
She took my gun and tucked, it inside her bra.
I was in shock for a second.
But a second was all she needed to grab the pizza and run inside.
"Bro." I scratched my head.
"I just got that back."
...
I drove to the harbor.
Walking through crates and pipes.
*Bang* *Bang*
I knocked on a metal door hosted by a big shack.
"Yo, Pierre you wanna come out here?" Lol,
"What." A woman answered the door. "Oh."
"Hi."
I walked inside. "Yo, guys."
"What up bro?"
There were like nine guys in this room.
This shack serves as a business room and a lounge.
"Here's the stuff." I threw the bag.
"You know you could have called." She opened the bag.
"I don't have a phone."
"All of a sudden you went MIA and nowhere to be found just to show up at my door to deliver a drop."
I smiled.
"Glad to have you back" she chuckled.
I grabbed a duffle bag off the floor.
"Well, it seems like you all are doing well."
"Heh, if you can call this that, and here,"
She threw me a phone.
"Don't go MIA without telling me ok?."
Mmmhmmm.
I made my exit.
...
After my last shift at a coffee shop, stopped to rest at a park.
There was an old lady who slowly walked up and sat next to me.
"What are you doing out so late tonight young man?"
I turned to her. "I just came from work."
"A young one like you should be sleeping for school tomorrow, I heard you have exams."
"No, I don't go to school."
"Why?"
"Because I have to work."
"..."
"Yeah," She must think I'm a delinquent.
"Let me tell you what, you go to school tomorrow and I'll help you with that."
"With what?" She handed me a banner.
"Don't worry, you'll know." She smiled.
Huh? The fuck? Bro, I don't even know.
...
I gonna sleep in the park, I'm too tired to go home,
It's not like the place I live is any better than this anyway.
I planted my duffle bag behind a tree and lay on a bench staring at the sky.
The stars aren't showing because I'm in the heart of the city.
I sighed.
...
"..."
"Are you gonna stay there or are you going to talk to me?"
Someone has been following me since I came here.
"Show yourself."
The figure showed itself.
"Aura?" I straightened,
She had something in her hand and she fidgeted with it.
I sighed again, welp I was bored.
I patted the seat, inviting her.
"Sit," I demanded her.
Like a puppy, She immediately sat.
Before I could speak she lifted my chin and wiped my face with a Handkerchief.
"..." I had dirt from the bench on my face.
I giggled.
"So, why are you here?" I passed her hand away.
"I..."
"Hmmm...?"
"I want to know your name."
Oh?
She started playing with her hair.
I guess she's too shy to make any moves.
"Do you?" I stood up and walked in front of her.
"Um." She got surprised.
I picked her up and sat on the bench, and now she sitting on my lap facing towards me.
"Huh, wait a minute."
Her face flushed with scarlet and she started heating up a little bit.
"Bare with me for a second." I covered her ear with my hand,
"What are you-"
I nicked it with my fingernail making a small cut on her ear.
"Ah," she moaned lightly and quickly covered her mouth in surprise.
"Sorry." I paused, "That was too sudden."
Silently breathing mist, She looked me in the eye,
"..."
She didn't say anything but her face said it all.
Taking her ear, I sucked the blood with my mouth.
Her little body was shaken,
"Your cute." I smiled with blood in my mouth.
Her whole body turned red, matching her face.
She immediately got up and handed me a pink box and ran off into the night.
Kinda makes me think,
"Haha," I laughed
How did she find me?
"..."
I turned around, "Are you gonna stay there?"
Looking at the street lap across the street.
A bald man in a grey suit walked toward the bench...
I wrote something and stretched out my hand, "I think she might want this back."
Handed him the Handkerchief. "She went that way." I pointed,
"...Colton is getting out..." He whispered,
Flicked my eyes to glare at him,
*sigh*
I nodded.
He glared his teeth at me and walked off.
Looking down at the box
I knew she was important.
Untying the ribbons I slowly opened it.
"Is this my gun?" It was polished and decorated with stickers and markings in Japanese.
But something catches my eye instantly,
It was an indented fingerprint on the side of the gun's hammer, over the safety.
"She doubled down."
I smiled.
Reloading it with a clip, "I'm impressed."
