"Let's the hunt begin~."
I decided to jump down directly from the branch.
Landing on my two feet.
I look around, trying to spot theirs position.
I thought it was going to be hard to find them. But... there were little balls of light in multiple directions.
One on my left.

Three on my back.
And in front of me, it was five.
After memoriesing their positions. I stretch myself. I took a deep breath.
An urge to kill was rising inside of me.
I was hungry for blood.

It has been one hour since the chief has ordered us to hunt down the ugly looking human.
We have split into different groups, trying to cover as much area as possible.
I was with my brother, I was in the front with the torch, and my brother was behind me with two daggers in his hands... We were searching for a lead, but in vain, we have come accross nothing, we continue our search. I decided to ask him a question.
"Brother, who do you think is stronger? Our chief or the ugly human?"
I ask with curiosity.
"Dumbass, even I, I bet I can kill the ugly human with just a flick of my finger, and he's injured too."
My brother answered my question in a careless tone.
I flinch, those scenes of ealier was deeply engraved in my mind .
"Brother, the chief is injured too. He has lost his left eyes..."
"And you remember ho-how he has impaled the young one without hesitation?"
Waiting for his reply, but to my surprise, he didn't say anything.
"Brother, why are you staying silent?"
I asked him in confusion. But still no reply.

I call out for him again.

I looked around in panic.

Answering my scream was the silence of the night.
It was completely dark. My torch was my only source of light, saving me from being eaten alive by this by darkness.
Suddenly, I got a cold chill in my spine.
My guts were screaming at me to run away.
They were telling me that something dangerous was here.
But...it was too late..
I froze in place. Something has just touched my feet. I glance down slowly.
What was at my feet was...
The head of my brother.

A scream of terror came out of my mouth, my legs giving up, I fell on my knees, totally petrified by the sight of my brother lifeless head.

A cracked voice came out of my mouth.
I wasn't believing what I was seeing, I told myself that I must be dreaming.
Suddenly, I sense something coming toward me, I lift my head. I stare at the darkness, my body was paralyzed by fear.
In this dark place, I was just hearing the sound of my heartbeats becoming louder and louder.
An icy breeze passed and moved the leaves of the trees, creating a space for the moonbeams to penetrate the darkness of this forest and showing the thing that was coming toward me, Being light up by the moonlight, his clothes and face tattered with bloodstains. He looked at me coldly, eyes devoid of life, like the abyss. opening his mouth, he says.
"Your death has come."

That was the last thing I heard before everything became pitch black.

"The bait has been place, now let's wait."
I walk around and dissappear into the shadow of the forest. I will exterminate everyone of them.
