"Be careful," Rachel warned, her eyes scanning their surroundings one last time as the group stepped through the makeshift entrance. Ethan followed, his heart hammering in his chest.
"Okay, everyone got their flashlights?" Ryan asked, his excitement palpable. The others nodded, and beams of light flickered to life, casting eerie shadows against the mine's walls. Ethan gripped his flashlight tightly, feeling the cold metal bite into his palm.
"Remember, we stick together," Markus said, his skepticism replaced with a hint of trepidation. "No one goes off alone. Got it?"
"Got it," they echoed in unison as they ventured deeper into the mine, each step echoing ominously through the cavernous space.
"Is it just me, or is this place seriously giving off some horror movie vibes?" Madison whispered, her camera capturing every chilling detail. Ethan couldn't help but agree, and he silently prayed they wouldn't encounter anything worse than their own fears.
