This chapter was meant for a quick recap and a little plot. 


I can't believe it has come to this. I find myself sitting here, pen in hand, writing what will be my final entry. The weight of despair hangs heavily upon me, and I can no longer bear the burden of these haunting memories and the torment that engulfs my very being. 


It feels like a lifetime ago when we returned to Winston, my hometown, a place that held both the promise of prosperity and the dark shadow of unsolved mysteries. I never could have imagined that our innocent curiosity would lead us down a path of unimaginable horror.
