"How can I be sure you won't just escape or rat us out when you get there? How can I trust you enough and know you're really gonna return with the antidote and not run away instead? How can I be so sure, Kaylan?" He asked worriedly and bobldly, Kaylan looked him directly in the eyes.


"I can't force people to trust me" she replied.


After much consideration, Axel had no option but to give her that trust - to let her go freely.


He rushed over to Zane's room and found him still unconscious on the bed.


"Is there any improvement?" He asked the healer.


"I'm afraid there isn't". The man answered, only giving Axel more reasons to go with the option of Kaylan.


He grunted angrily as he turned away and marched out of the room.


Mansi had been outside the room, pacing restlessly as she was so worried about Alpha Zane. What could be going on with him? She didn't know why the guards wouldn't let her in. And Axel... he's just been trooping in and out for sometime already.
