“Mansi” Zane called out, when he entered the palace compound. He kept calling her name until he entered the palace and saw the maids with sad faces and they were crying; He knew something had happened. He rushed into the room to find Mansi lying the bed, lifeless.


He could not control his tears; he burst them out and wept so much for Mansi.


“No-no-no. Mansi!” he said, trying to wake her from death.


“Sir, I’m sorry; She’s gone” the physician said, patting his back.


“No way! She’s sleeping. She cannot die” he agitated.


Kaylan sat at a corner and was also crying out her eyes. The news of Mansi’s death circulated throughout his kingdom and the whole people gathered at the palace to mourn with him. For three days those in the palace mourned. Alpha Zane could not get over it so easy like everyone else.


Each time he looks like Lincoln, she sees Mansi and that makes him want to cry more. Kaylan was always with him to console him.
