Wide-eyed, I immediately realized what I did. "D-Dear moon g-goddess!" I exclaimed, gasping at what I just did. "I-I didn't mean it, Y-Your Grace. P-Please forgive me..." I approached him and made him look at me. My hands were fidgeting when I came to see his cheek reddened from my slap. I immediately knelt before him. "Y-You can punish me for my i-impudence, Your Grace," I nearly cried.


I even leaned my head to the dirtied floor, closing my eyes in shame. I didn't know why I moved to slap him. I hissed silently and castigated my wolf, blaming her that she might have done this.


'You did this on your own accord. You have found his words offended you so you involuntarily slapped him.' I heard her scoffing then she cut off our mind-link.


I bit my lower lip and slowly peeled my eyes open. All I could see was the ground as I waited for His Grace to utter a word.
