As soon as my tears subsided and before I could go downstairs, I was asked by Kayla that Lycan had arrived at my quarters and followed my orders to make his way to my opened window. I immediately went there and saw him settling in the corner.


"Lycan," I called his name the moment I emerged into my quarters.


Lycan stood still before he knelt before me. But his eyes widened upon seeing my state. Probably he saw my swollen cheek and my puffy eyes. "Luna," he greeted me and immediately bowed his head. "I have asked what you have told me and discreetly came here." He presented me with a box that was covered with cloth.


I approached him at the table and untied the cloth. But before I could open it, I turned at Lycan who was silently watching me.
