Chapter 69 Sympathy and doubts

"I am sorry, I am truly Sorry Elder Stephen, I should not have..." I started but trailed when Stephen's words cut me off.

"It is okay, there is no need to apologize," he muttered.

I gaped severally, wanting to talk but thought it wise to keep calm. There were so many questions that instantly filed in my mind, I had the urge to ask them because I wanted to know the answers to these questions, or am I doing bad not to ask these questions? I wondered. My mind was literally kind of blown off, it made me feel sad, but then, I decided to keep my calm because I noticed that talking in such a haphazard manner wouldn't be good, coupled with the fact that Stephen's dead wounds had been revived.

As silence roled through the entire room, no one dared to break it, and it became alarming to a point that Elder Stephen had to speak up.
