Chapter 96 CHAPTER 96: Regret Part 2

I WAS the man who never felt love from my father. I didn’t remember he raises me and Maricar. He’s a father that I wish I never had. It’s hard to say, but how I wish it was like that. I didn’t even remember that he truly loves my mom.

Mom was a singer from a small club when he met my father. My father was a newly hired cleaner in the club. They are both no education at all—almost. Mom finished tenth grade, while our father was just finished the elementary level. Five years ago, he left us because of his bad habit he became an alcoholic abuser. There was no day he came home without alcohol.

He lost his job, and he even lost us. Then one day, he told my mom that he can’t control his habit and he wasn’t a responsible guy to hold on with the burden. He thinks that we as his family were a burden to him. He left us—the family he only had.
