Chapter 22 Beauty in Central Park

After reading a message on his phone, Edward seemed extremely uneasy. I figured the sender was either someone who knew a secret of his or someone blackmailing him. Either way, those were not my issues. Rich men always have shady things going on and although I did not think Edward was a really horrible person, I knew he may have got involved with some bad people. The law of unintended consequences does not spare anyone.

I decided to focus on feasting on the sights of New York and take attention away from Edward who was not paying any attention to me anyway. Soon, we reached one of the streets leading to central park, the one place in New York where no one should leave without visiting. It was the center of everything, so full of life, light and other interesting things.
