Chapter 68 The wedding garden

“We need to go now,” Maria told me as we exited the Rose Garden, following our tour team. The team was composed of eight people excluding the guide so it was really hard to sneak away without being noticed. It would have been easier at The Rose Garden because of the multitude of green cover. The paths were less green and I was sure our guide wouldn’t be too pleased about two of his client veering of the path. He’d definitely alert security because he might think our motives were bad.

We had reached the floral border when we decided enough was enough. The wedding garden was not far away and hopefully Edward would have seen us before we got kicked out. If he was interested in what we had to say, he’d make sure to hear us out. If not, everything we had to say would be useless anyway so there would be no point in struggling to get to him.
