THE warriors just started their morning training as I settled to stand near the grounds. There weren’t a lot of pack warriors. Although wolves are naturally born to be soldiers, Dark Mountains take it to great consideration that we should have more qualified fighters than have numerous ones that couldn’t even take a hit.

I looked over at Leo as he walked out of the forest and into the training ground. His shift for border patrol must have just ended. His gaze landed on me and I merely nodded in acknowledgement. It was his first day as pack Delta although I am yet to officially introduce him to the pack with that title.

“The other two Alphas are in your house. They escorted your Luna back.”

I didn’t move to face Alpha Nathaniel. He was standing beside me, leaning on a tree. After Diana’s revelation of being pregnant, the five of us went out of the prison cells. No words were exchanged. We merely left as if the news she just broke was too much for us.
