Chapter 4

WHEN I got out of the hospital I immediately went home to the mansion and what Coleen said was true.

 We were not even admitted to the mansion but I was persistent.  What right do they have not to let me into my own house?  How dare they!

 "Let us in or else you will regret this in your whole life and your whole family," I said to the guard with a serious expression on my face.

 Good and he looked scared so he immediately let us in.  When I entered the front door and Coleen was just behind me we even heard someone talking in the living room.

 "Maybe we can set your wedding as soon as possible. I don't want my daughter not to marry you right away."  Said of the woman I've hated ever since, Noreen.  The second wife of my father.

 "Mommy is a right baby. I don't want to walk down the aisle with a big belly and I want you to be mine so that my sister won't have to chase you,"  said Natasha.

 One of my eyebrows rose.  Am I the claimant? How bold!

 "Oh, that bitch Jenny will never set her feet in our house again, sweety."

 "Really, mommy?"

 "Yes. And together with your hard-headed sister."

I glanced at Coleen at my side. She's lowering her head again and I can see in her eyes, she wants to cry. I shook my head and looked straight.

 "Speaking of myself,"  I said and I walked towards them.  Noreen, Natasha, and of course my ex-asshole boyfriend.  "Did I hear my pretty name?"

 "What are you doing here?" Noreen looks horrible. "You're not supposed to be here, bitch. Get out of my house."

 I laughed at her. "Your house? You must be dreaming, right?" 

My body was shaken because of laughter.  What a pathetic sight.

 "This is my home, bitch! Get out now!"  shouted Noreen.

 "Mom, stop it. Can't you see that Jenny has nowhere else to go? And it's her house too." Coleen said and approached her mother.

 But before she could approach her, she met with a strong slap.

 "How dare you talk to your mother like that? Don't tell me what to do. I only do this for you and your sister! So shut up and be an obedient daughter!"  Noreen shouted and pointed a finger at Coleen.

 "I'm sorry mother," she looks like she's going to cry.

 I pity her. If only she hadn’t been Noreen’s child she wouldn’t have suffered. Yes, Coleen is Noreen's first child to my uncle Fabio. When my uncle died, this woman flirted with my father to maintain her status in elite society and that's why I hated her.

 This bitch really knows how to climb!

 "You can't get me out of my own house, Noreen. This is my house so I stay."

 "This is ours too! Your father married me so I have rights."

 "You're just a wife,"  I said in a bored tone.  "And besides, this is not your husband's house which is my father's. This house belongs to my late mother."

She was silent.  I first looked at her from head to toe and I was shaken.

 "Everything you have in your body now and in your children's bodies belong to my mommy."  I immediately turned around and left them.

 I head to the garden and I notice Josh is following me. I stop and face him.

 "What do you want?"

 I stared at him and I couldn't believe it myself. Did I really love this man?  There is nothing special about his appearance, especially inside.

 "To apologize and win you back again,"  he said, full of self-confidence.

 "You must be kidding! I already dumped you."

 "But I love you, Jenny. You really are the one I love and not Natasha. Please forgive me and let's start again. If you want to go abroad then let's go. Let's leave here and let's live together in another country."  He was about to take my hands, which I immediately took away.

 I looked at him and I smiled.  A smile was full of evilness.  "Kneel."

 "W-what?"  he looks surprised.

 What did he think of me that I would just give in to what he wanted?  

 "I said kneel in front of me and begged. Maybe if I saw you kneel and beg maybe I will forgive you."

 He was swallowing hard.  I want to laugh at him because of his reaction.

 "I'm sorry and please come with me,"  he actually kneels in front of me.

 But I could not find forgiveness in my heart.  I can't forgive him yet. I can't forgive how he cheated on me many times. I just can't! I did love him but he hurt me.

 "It's too late Josh. You see I'm not a virgin anymore. Can you be a father to another man's child?"

 He looks surprised.  "W-what do you mean?"

 "I gave myself to someone after I ran from your apartment that night. And to tell you frankly, I never regret it. Losing and giving my virginity to a stranger is pure bliss. Do you know why? Because it's not you."

 "No." He sits on the floor. "It can't be. You can't do that. You love me."

 "Really? How sure are you? Remember we never kiss on the lips. That means that man that night is my first in everything."

 "But I am your first boyfriend. Your first love!"

 "You're just a first boyfriend but you're never going to be my first love. Because my first love and my one and only true love was a boy fifteen years ago. And you really know that Josh." I said and I held his face.  "I never truly love you."

 "You're so cruel," he said and I saw something dripping from his eyes.  Until he cried one after another.  "You are cruel!"

 I pity him but still, I'm not in love with him. And I can't forgive him now. The pain he caused is fresh. The pain cut deeply into my heart and I can't forgive him that easily.

 "But even if you're cruel I don't care. And if you ever get pregnant I don't care either as long as you are mine. I love you so much, Jen. You're my beloved. So please come with me."  he holds my hands and kisses them.

 I wanted to hug him because he kissed my hand but I did nothing.  I only let him kiss my hand.

 I felt sorry for him because I could see the sincerity in his eyes but I couldn’t forgive him.

 Yes, I may not love him as deeply as I loved the boy in my young years but I love him.  And he hurt me.

 And that's the scene Natasha saw.

 "You, bitch!"  Natasha shouts and I immediately grab a tweak.

 "Try to hurt me and I swear you will lose a child right here and right now!"

 She got scared and backed away.  "Josh is mine!"

 "You can have him and I don't care anymore."

 "I swear Jenny if you try to seduce him again I'll kill you myself."

 "Tell that to him and anyway you can always try to kill me but you will never succeed."

 "Just watch! I will bitch!"

 I left them immediately and quickly go to my room.  I don't want to stress too much because my body is still weak from the accident and from what happened to Stranger and me.

Stranger Iracus Anderson.
