ZYAIR'S POINT OF VIEW
"Seriously, I'm surprised that you were the one who drove my son to his school. I mean, it's the first time that you did this,"
I felt a lump obstructing my throat with what Athena said while we're walking through the long stairs.
Should I tell her that I only did that because I want to see Florence? That I couldn't help thinking about her for the whole day?
I scoffed. "Instead of questioning what I did, you should just be grateful that I did something that should be you and your husband's responsibility," I answer instead.
She heaved out a sigh. "Zyair, you know that we're extremely-"
"Fine," I immediately cut her off because I don't want to prolong our argument anymore. "Anyway, what do you want to tell me?"
She opens the door of her office and we entered. She walked towards the table and sit there.
"Oh God. I forgot to tell Carol to bring us some drinks. Do you want to eat something?"
