Chapter 97 ON THIN ICE

"You've been staring at your bracelet since last night like a maniac. I'm starting to worry if uncle Zyair puts a spell on that or you're just too head over heels about him," Archer blurted out while we're eating our breakfast.

My cheeks heat up. I averted my gaze from the bracelet I'm wearing. Up until now, I still feel ecstatic while reminiscing everything that happened that night.

The kiss that we shared is still lingering on my soul. I don't think I will ever forget that night. It felt so magical.

I scoffed because of the resentful tone of my brother's voice. "Stop being so bitter, Arch. Once you grew up and fell in love with someone, you will regret saying those things to me. Trust me," I warned him.

His face contorted. "If falling in love means smiling out of the blue like a creep, then no thanks."

I chuckled. "Whatever."

After we ate our breakfast, I quickly took a bath to prepare for work.
