Chapter 6 The Beginning

“ Mmmmm..”

Heaving breathing and sweats are forming into my forehead but Alpha Dominic didn’t stop ravishing my lips. His large body is pinning me harder into the wall until we heard an engine of the car.

“ Shift into your form and leave,” he commanded which leaves me confused as hell. I tried to look out the window to see who visited him but he gripped my waist before he guided me to some exit route.

He looks calm but alarmed. “ This direction will lead you into your house lake, my favor darling, don’t forget about it.”

I was so ready to protest and whine but the steps of the visitor is getting louder. Their laughter becomes loud which is the reason why I can identify that it’s a man and a woman.

“ Now,” he commands and I nodded like a scared kitten before I shift into my form and run as fast as I can before the visitors entered the door of the cabin. The water from the lake looks peaceful as soon as I arrived and I am more thankful that I hide clothes from the pavilion in front of it in case I have shifted back to my human form.

The chilly wind hits my tender red cheeks, my heart is horse racing, I am not just sure if it is because of how far I run or because of the sudden turn of events when Alpha Dominic pins me into the wall and kissed me.

He kissed. He kissed me again and right now, just what happened before…we separated after the kiss encounter.

“ Where have you been?”

I took a step backward as I was startled by the sudden voice behind me. Alpha Silas is leaning in one of the pavilion’s column while his arms are crossed against his chest, his eyes are slowly surveying me which makes me conscious out of nowhere.

For a split of time, his eyes settled to my lips before they wandered at the peaceful scenery that is slowly unfolding in front of us. “ Your lips are swelling,” he pointed out, clearly disappointed about something.

Unconsciously, I put my hands into my lips which only I realized that he has put me right into his bait. “ Who was it?” he snapped.

“ None of your business, Brother.”

Brother…he hated to address that way and I will never know why. He only chuckles to himself before he skillfully jumps to one of the wooden railings of the pavilion and settled there, which I did the same. Just like how we used to do when we are young.

Alpha Silas is just 4 years older than me but the sudden turn of events and responsibility made him mature…to the point that we never had the time to do this kind of thing. “ I miss this,” I said in a silent voice before I looked at the floor, not wanting to look at him.

“ I miss you,” he said, almost a silent whisper. A small smile formed on my lips because I fully understand what he’s trying to convey.

“ I miss us,” he added before we got disturbed by the annoying face of Tommy, his Beta.

Tommy, with his thick and arrogant face, entered the pavilion-like he owns the place. “ You’re needed in the meeting, Alpha.”

His irritating voice is a disease to my ears. I don’t know if it is just me but my blood automatically boils as soon as Beta Tommy is around. With his muscular physique, creamy skin tone, and long curly hair. I just guessed that his only talent is to lure women because of his face.

He looks at me before he smirks. “ Nice to see you, Beatrix.” No, it wasn’t nice to see you, Tommy, I wanted to say that but I only bite my lips and fixed myself before looking at them walking away.

The command of Alpha Dominic is bothering me, he wants me to make Tommy head over heels for me but he didn’t tell me why. Am I right? Is he one of the traitors? But other parts of me screams that the command is full of bullshit and vague. If Tommy is one of the traitors, then he is dangerous. Do I trust Alpha Dominic enough to trust my life with him?

“ Hey, Tommy.”

I cringed.

Inside of me, all I want is to puke everything inside my stomach because of how my voice called the arrogant Beta. He looks so bewildered with the way how sweet my voice is calling his name and he didn’t waste the opportunity to come closer and talked to me.

We are at the warrior house, inspecting the selection of members who needed their presence, together with my brother who is now throwing a lot of dangerous glare into our direction.

“ That’s a first,” he commented before his hand dishevels his long hair like he’s trying to hit on me.

I forcefully smile as if I am interested in him. “ What do you think about the new warriors?”

His brown eyes quickly surveyed the place before he looks at me, interested. “ You never talked to me about your warriors.”

“Now, I am talking to you about them. So?” Twirling my hair using my fingers, I looked like just a random girl who’s interested in him. He noticed it too as his eyes flicker while following the movement of my hair.

Tommy is genius, only in one aspect and that is in girls. He knows how to get them, even better to Alpha Silas. Besides, cheap girls dig to someone like him and that thought made me want to strangle Alpha Dominic because of his command.

His confidence slipped in as he slowly tucks his hands into my waist before pulling me closer. “Too many warriors. We needed to cut some numbers,” he whispers into my ears which makes me uncomfortable… so uncomfortable that I didn’t stop myself from slightly pushing him away. Good thing he only smirks at my reaction and he didn’t take any offense by it.

His words bothered me more. If he’s part of the revolution, then this is an obvious action. He wants to cut the number of warriors in Creed’s family, why? Because he needed to loosen the security.

“ Uh-uh,” I only said before a loud cough disturb our conversation. Alpha Silas is looking at us, no, he’s glaring at the both of us before he instruct something with Beta Tommy, which makes him leave me to my brother.

His hand pulls me to the corner, eyeing the warriors as if he’s checking if they are listening to us. “ What are you doing?” He asked in a fixed tone. I rolled my eyes and took a step forward to avoid this conversation but he pulls me closer.

His gripped in my hands is tight. “ Why are flirting with Tommy?”

“ Why do you care?”

I wanted to slap my mouth when I saw how pain cross his eyes because of what I said.

“ Alpha!”

“ Alpha!”

“ Alpha!”

Screams and heavy breathing disturb the whole warrior house when a sweaty Candice, one of our warriors, rushed inside. Alpha Silas is quick into running in her direction before she falls right into his arms. “Tell me,” He demanded and what Candice said shook the hell out of us.

“Decapitated…Two of our warriors… at the tree...”
