Chapter 25 Treachery

The rays of the sun wake me up into a deep peaceful sleep. At first, I was unfamiliar with the room that I am in, then everything that happened last night started to sink into my mind. But what surprised me is the fact, that I wasn’t cuff into the bedpost but I am laying comfortably into the bed with a soft blanket shielding me from the coldness of the night.

“ You’re finally awake,” the voice disrupts my thoughts. He’s leaning into the doorframe without a shirt on and gulping his coffee.

A very familiar scene, indeed. Only this time, I chose to do something and jump forward, to attack him and be free on this little game that he’s trying to lure me in.

All he did was to avoid my attacks. “ I thought your anger will increase your skills, Creed,” he insulted me as he shield his hand to my attacks while calmly drinking his coffee.

“ You’ll just get tired,” he mocked. And he’s right, my attack is useless because he’s only making no effort about it and dodging it without a sweat.
