Chapter 34 Symbol of Alliance

After the confrontation with Pup, he didn’t show himself in front of me. His last words still lingers inside of my head trying to figure out what he meant by it. The only way to protect me is for me to know the truth. The town looks like the same only that it seems lonely or maybe it was just my inner self, feeling the loneliness. Nevertheless, I stop when I reached the coffee shop.

“ Same order, ma’am?” the waiter asks politely. I only nodded as she made my order as I lean into the counter and survey the place. Nothing changed, not until my gaze landed on the set of eyes, watching my every movement.
