Natalie goes to surprise her mate on his birthday, only to be surprised herself. She finds him cheating on her with her best friend, Tina. What’s more? Trevor realizes that she has left and rejected him. Angered, he accepts the rejection and proceeds to announce his mistress as his chosen luna. However, his wolf doesn’t cooperate. He tries to force him to mark his lover as his luna, which results in landing him in the infirmary. Even after being released from the infirmary, his wolf doesn’t show up and soon the elders see him unfit to lead a werewolf pack. Soon he is denounced from the position. He watched painfully as his beta is appointed as the new alpha. He thinks that Tina would help, however, gets the shock of his life when he realises that Tina and his Beta Alan are mates. They ridicule him and says that he may stay in the pack even though they planned to kill him before. However, fearing that they might kill him off, he escapes to the human city. 
He badly misses Natalie and regrets his actions. His wolf never returned and hence he succumbs to depression.

"Your Highness, it has been a couple of months since we have denounced the alpha of the Silver Moon pack because his wolf had gone dormant. The pack's beta is now their alpha," the elders told me.


"And?" I raised an eyebrow. I was told what had happened to that pack. Their Luna suddenly left and the alpha's wolf went dormant after that. That was what everyone informed me.


They didn't know what I knew. I knew it was Natalie's pack and I knew the reason why she ran. She ran because her life was in danger. But I didn't disclose it to the elders since they didn't have to know about it, to do their job.


"There is a little problem, Your Majesty," they humbly replied.
