Chapter 31 The eagle tattoo

Vincent went back to the posh residential area to retrieve his bike. He saw Gerald outside his villa, talking to a man wearing a mask and a cap. His sharp eyes inspected them thoroughly. He couldn't see the man's face, though.

His ears perked in an attempt to listen to their conversation. Nothing could be easily heard because they spoke in a low voice. Vincent, on the other hand, suspected Gerald of hatching a new scheme.

He noticed them shaking hands after a while. Vincent's keen gaze rested on the stranger's forearm tattooed with an eagle. It was large enough to be seen from a few yards away. He was curious as to who that man was.

The man got into his black Bentley and drove away. Vincent wanted to chase him down straight away, but he held back since he didn't want Gerald to be alarmed. He started his motorbike as soon as Gerald walked into his house.

Vincent couldn't keep up with Bentley's incredible speed. He eventually lost the car.
