Chapter 49 The death anniversary of Ethan

It was the day of Ethan’s death anniversary. His photograph was placed on a table in the hallway. Candles were lit in front of it. Elias had not yet arrived, but his four other friends had already reached the mansion. They brought bouquets of white flowers and set them on the table.

Everyone looked at Ethan’s photo with grief.

“Hey, boys… I am happy you made it this year,” Oscar smiled and welcomed them warmly, trying to alleviate the grim situation.

"Sean, Tim, Ronnie, and Garry... It's been such a long time since I have seen you." Olivia approached them with a smile.

“Hey, little girl. How are you?” Garry was the one who asked this.

"I'm no longer a little girl." Olivia sulked. “I am an adult now.”

“But you are a little girl to us,” Ronnie pulled her dainty nose.

Olivia’s face scrunched up. “You…”

She tried to slap him, but Ronnie pivoted and ran away.

“Hahaha…” Everyone, even Oscar, started laughing.
