Vincent stared at Oscar with his wide eyes, mouth agape. The shock was palpable on his face. He felt as if hundreds of choppers hovered over his head. Other than buzzing in his ears, he heard nothing. All he could see was Oscar's mouth opening and closing constantly.

A nudge on his arm jolted him out of his stupor. He turned to Olivia, who leaned on him laterally and whispered, “Didn’t I tell you last night?”

With a cheeky grin, she waggled her eyebrows up and down. Vincent frowned at her. His attention shifted away from her and focused on Natalia, who was sitting quietly with her head down and poking the pancake with the fork. So, she was already aware of it. Only then did Vincent figure out why Natalia was not willing to express her feelings. She intended to sacrifice her love. Vincent’s eyes turned cold as this notion came to his mind.
