Vincent pulled out a chair and sat down in front of him.


Oscar wiped his face with his hand and began to say slowly, "That night it poured even harder. I became inebriated as usual and fell asleep on the reclining chair. The next morning…”


He inhaled shakily and said, “Elmer’s loud voice and Cindy’s cry startled me awake. I was terrified as I thought something bad had happened to my girls. I ran out of my room and saw Elmer hitting Cindy. It shocked me to see Cindy half-naked."
