Natalia stared at their departing figures with melancholy. Her stomach knotted at the notion of Vincent being upset.


She immediately lost her appetite. She dropped the toast on the plate and leaned over the sofa, rubbing her forehead.


"Ah…" she whined and jumped off. "Holy shit…" she groaned in exasperation. She was so distraught that she forgot that the wound on her back had not yet healed. She remained seated while holding her head with both hands and resting her elbows on her knees.

Natalia was finally discharged from the hospital. She intended to leave for Cohutta but couldn't say no to Elena's request to spend the day with them. She also wanted to see Vincent's castle. Jonathan had told her a lot about it.
