“Who am I?”
The question flashed in his mind repeatedly. He barely remembered anything from his past, or present.
“You’re awake.”
A woman with chestnut brown hair calmly strode towards him. His first impression was she was someone prominent in this place, although she wasn’t dressed like a doctor. Neither could she be a nurse. With her head lifted up high, he had a good view of her smooth complexion and her large, soft-looking eyes.
“Who are you? Where am I?”
“I can’t tell you now. You just need to know that for the moment, you are safe,” the woman replied in a composed manner.
“Can you at least tell me who I am?” the man demanded.
“I don’t know. Probably you should wait for the doctor. Here.”
She handed him a glass of water. He hesitantly took it from her, probably wondering if it was drugged.
