My mind is in a muddle; the puzzle still hasn’t been answered.
“Do you have the ring, son?” Dad asked.
“Yeah, Dad. Here, I have it with me. I keep it close to me at all times,” I muttered as I took out the small box from my pants pocket.
“Well?” Dad pushed me with a slap on the back. He propelled me towards Ami while Mom slowly walked away to stand by Dad’s side.
I gazed at Ami, her eyes shining like the sun reflecting against the glass windows as I smiled down on her.
“I wanted to do this after I’ve introduced you to my parents, but I guess they are more impatient than me,” I smirked as Ami laughed softly.
