He chuckled, "it's your car, like I said I am your driver,I will only have these keys when you have somewhere to go." I stared at him in utter disbelief, the hell is he saying.
"You mean I can have the key, I am the owner of this cream Honda Civic! I pointed at it almost freaking out, he nodded.
Was I to scream or cry?
"Wow, I am surprised,I totally am," I clutched my heart from flying away, "I really can't believe this."
"Here is my card, call me when you have somewhere to go." I collected the card from him and watched him leave together with the other man.
My phone beeped and I took it immediately.
~ Babes, do you like my gift?
I wanted to thank him and say all sorts of sweet words but no, I can't be floored easily, I chewed my lip as I fetched him a reply.
~Why are you doing this?" I said faintly.
Just then Bella and Lulu ran to hug me with a big smile on. Wow! That was unusual.
"Girls am on call," I barked
~Jerry or whatever you call yourself,I can't take your gift until you tell me what you want from me." I said in a very harsh tone.
~Happiness," is voice rang. "Your happiness, that's what I want." He said calmly.
Who was he trying to decieve, not me.
~I don't trust you, I hardly even know you, just take back your gift. I don't need it."
I was still pouring my heart out when Bella snatched the phone from me, I growled in anger.
~Hey, don't mind my friend, she's not always like that but I will talk to her."
~Okay, thanks." Jerry said and ended the call.
"Miss, you can have your phone now." She said and threw it to me, I gave her a long stare and she pouted.
"What was that for? You know how much I hate to be treated like that." I asked with a frown glued to my face.
"Please give me the key and then you can pump your face like a python," she said, snatching the key from me.
" Lulu, watch me as I display my driving skills," Bella said, jumping into the car.
"Babes, this is brand new, damn, this car is freaking good I must admit," she added, excitement tagging all over her face.
"Remember the party I told you about," Lulu said and Bella nodded. "We're gonna rock it with this car, turn on some music, let's celebrate, Cleo, come join us."
"Absolutely not with this car, he's taking it back, am not for sale." I said going inside my room, they followed from behind, whining my name.
Would they just leave me alone?
I decided to stop and listen to their whining voices.
"Cleo, what's wrong with you, are you nuts," Lulu rasped and I folded my lips at her.
" I'm okay, I'm not accepting shit from that Jerry guy." I said and turned away.
"Jerry guy! They chorused, exchanging glances.
"What! Do you girls know him?" I asked, puzzled, they gave me a strange stare without uttering a word, suddenly Lulu screamed, I had to cover my ears so she wouldn't blow them off.
"Wait.. don't tell me he was the one that dropped you off that night," she screamed with eyes popping out.
"Jerry chose you of all people or probably not the Jerry that we know," Bella added, saying the last part as a joke.
"Girls, you're getting me all confused here, do you know him? Why are you so bothered?"
" Have you met him? Like, one on one? Because I don't think there's any other Jerry in NYC that we don't know of," Lulu said. "Let me check my Instagram and see if it's really him." She said, her eyes glued to her phone, she snapped her fingers and we looked at her.
"What is it?" I asked moving close to her, so I could see who was on the phone.
"You said you don't know him?" Bella asked me, lowering her eyes at me. "Look at him in his red lambo, you sure don't know him.." she smiled widely at me.
"Oh my God, I can't believe this." Lulu screamed, closing her mouth with both palms.
With the way they were acting,I had to say something to make them stop. "What's so special about this Jerry, he's rich, gat a lambo, flirts, flows in money.., c'mon girls it's nothing to be so happy about," I hurled.
Lulu looked at me in a crazy way. "Girlfriend, this guy is freaking rich and very handsome, he has lots of maids in his beck and calls."
"A lot of girls are drooling over him, girls that you're not even in their class." Belle added, matter of factly.
" And.. so.. should I be happy he got me a car and a driver," I asked rhetorically and they gawped at me. "I don't need those things." I said emphatically.
"You're sick, it's obvious you don't know you're in the media already, standing out those girls that kill themselves over him," Bella said, almost shouting at my face.
Are they the owner of my life now?
"What if I break it to you that Ryan Lukas is all over me," I spilled and they stared at me like a clown.
"Which Ryan Lukas?" Lulu finally asked.
"Which other Ryan Lukas do you know," I said curtly, eyeing them both.
"Ryan Lukas!" Lulu said in an outburst. "Babes, why? No.., I told you I have a crush on this guy and you went after him." She said, suddenly dramatic, she leaned on the sofa and looked at me soberly.
"Hello.. you were crushing from a distance, plus.. he came after me," I said, sliding into one of the sofa's.
"This is getting serious, Cleopatra what's happening, is any of you into Ryan Lukas?" Bella asked, confused.
"He took me out on a date and proposed to me, he wants me to be his girlfriend." I smiled.
" Girlfriend!!" Lulu exclaimed, making pity faces.
"Uhu, I think I like him, he's nice." I said jumping up from the sofa, knowing what's coming next.
I took my phone and added. "Maybe I should call him and tell him already, don't you think," I stared at her with a mischievous smile.
"You do no such thing!" Lulu said and jumped down, I ran and she chased after me. "Give me that phone, let me have it."
"Take it easy girlfriend, I was just kidding," I said in between heavy breaths. "but I do like him, okay."
The chase begins again and it was all fun for me because the pillows she throws at me always landed on Bella.
Jerry's pov
I was at my bar drinking wine, when a crazy thought crept into my head.
"Maids!" I called and a maid came on, I was cladded in white shorts and a black sweet-shirt with white boots.
"Take this address," I said, slipping a note into her hands. "Tell her not to go to the bar tonight."
"Okay sir." She nodded and left.
I sipped from my wine and a smile crept into my face.
Let's see where this waitress drama leads us.

"What's buzzing guys? It's been a week now, who's paying the bills," Yarry asked.
"I'm curious as well, it seems she's playing hard to get." Adras chipped in.
"Don't you know? Low class bitches always want a hundred reasons to know why a freaking rich dude suddenly finds them attractive." Yarry pointed out.
I was still on my phone, contributing nothing, perhaps, waiting for Ryan to take the lead.
"They are now quiet, ashamed of their game," Adras stared at Ryan mockingly.
" Ashamed, you say? No, I am not. As you said earlier; she's a low class bitch who needs a hundred reasons why we choose no other girl but her and I'm sure Jerry can't give her what she wants." Ryan poured out, sipping his wine gently.
I smiled as I heard his last statement, 'can't give her what she wants'.
Really?
"It's obvious, he isn't saying anything." Yarry cutted in and the others laughed.
I decided it was time to speak. "Okay guys, I agree that I can't give her what she wants as he presumed but I can actually give her orders." I said hailing daggers at Ryan.
" Woah!" They cheered and I relaxed on my seat, focussing on the scowl slowly forming on Ryan's face.
"Ask him what his testimony is about? What proof do you have?" He glared up and I grinned.
"Clear enough for you to see," I said, taking little sips from my wine and his eyes bubbled up.
"That she's not on duty or probably off day?"
"At least, that's some points."
"How? Doesn't look like one to me." He replied.
"It's a score for me because I asked her not to come." I said simply.
