Mistaken For A Prey

My watch had been the only thing I have been staring at right from watching her slam her door after breakfast. My butts glued to the chair hoping that she would come out and pass by the lobby but I guessed wrong, the time is 12noon and she's still not out of her room. I have trailed her door at intervals but not a sound was coming from there.


Still contemplating if to go knock on her door Merlin came to join me, right in time. "Merlin." I called, moving close to him.


"Yes?" He answered, his eyes glued to the game he was playing, he didn't even spare me a glance as he kept raising his elbows, shifting unnecessary due to the effect of the game.


"Can you lend me your card?" I said softly hoping he would just fetch it out for me due to how busy he was.


He raised a brow and asked, "what for?"


"C'mon it's just one swipe it's not gonna take too long." I twitched unevenly. Will he just stop and tell where to find it?
