Chapter 7

“-ling! Darling!” I gasped as I abruptly stood up – I look around to see all the servants with unreadable expressions on their faces.

“Walter? What happened?” I ask as I rub my head – I seem to be waking up with more and more headaches these days.

“You looked like you were uncomfortable in your sleep – I couldn’t wake you up, so I brought the servants here,” he said with a concerned look. I shook my head, “I’m fine, you guys can go on your way.”

The crowd of servants immediately dispersed – Walter stayed by my side as he gave me water and wiped the tears I hadn’t noticed were there.

“Are you sure you’re fine? We can book a hotel and let the servants do all the work – I don’t think you’re in the right state to move around,” he said and I shook my head.

“Father is going to visit us today – we need to entertain him for a homecoming party,” I said before I urged him to get me out of the vehicle.
