“Are you sure you’re going to be fine?” Walter asks for the nth time as he is about to send me into the operation room.
“It’s better this way – the earlier I get to do this, the higher the chances of my survival. Don’t worry about me, I told you what to do in case I’ll be gone,” I smiled as the doctors were preparing to transport me to the operation room.
“Don’t say that! You won’t be gone, I got the best hospital for you,” he looked like he was immensely worried.
However, he was right, he got the best hospital around – with mortality rate the lowest in the whole country.
“Be at ease, darling. I’ll definitely come back,” I said before the doctors finally started to transport me to the operation room.
Before I lost sight of Walter, I saw him talking with the doctors just outside the operation room – they seem to be the ones supposed to perform the surgery on me.
