Chapter 40

I sigh as I sit here studying for college entrance exams – Asher was absolutely right, no University would accept my previous credited units.

“This year you should study for the entrance exams for the next school year – that way, you’ll be safer with your pregnancy,” that was what Asher said – insisting I don’t enter school right away.

Thankfully, I didn’t need to study lower grades anymore – all I have to do now is to do well. If I don’t, I might as well just have been wasting my time.

“Ugh, what the heck?” I curse under my breath as I start to get tired. Maybe this is just a side effect of pregnancy, but I’m always tired and sleepy – all day every single day.

I never had problems studying when I was in college – coffee really did pull me through. However, Asher has forbidden anything with caffeine in it as well as any carbonated or slightly unhealthy foods.

“Such a tight family of doctors,” I groaned in frustration – suddenly craving for pork.
