Chapter 42

“We are urging everyone who has seen this woman – to please contact us...” the news blared in the hospital as I struggled to control my breathing.

“The patient is currently at 5 cm,” the doctor announced – this little boy seemed to be a little stubborn. I’ve been admitted to the hospital since 5 AM, the woman I was with have given birth.

I wanted to give birth normally – and so I had to wait for 2 hours now.

“We should move her room somewhere more comfortable,” I heard Asher say in the background. I was too busy walking around to protest any further.

For the past few days, I’ve been having false alarms of labor. Sometimes I’d wake up and my bedsheet had become moist – thinking my water broke, I would go to the hospital to the doctor saying I wasn’t ready for labor.
