“Now that I look at you closely – I guess I was just too stupid to realize it. I mean, the similarities are uncanny yet I never noticed it,” I said as I helped him put a blonde wig on.
“Many people can’t recognize me when I’m disguised, don’t worry about it,” he said as he leaned back.
I frowned, “I’m not ‘ many people ’, am I?”
He looked up at me cheekily, “Of course not.” I look at him for a while before leaning in for a peck.
“I kind of want to see your letters,” Jaughnn remarked as he smirked – my eyes widened as I see Lux snickering just outside, peeking into the room.
As our eyes meet, he immediately runs off giggling. I sigh, “That was supposed to be hidden forever, it’s not with me anyway – you can’t see it.”
He turns around with a frown on his face, “Where is it then?”
I smirk, “Where else? It’s with our old house – we lived with my friend Asher for years, remember?” He sighs out in frustration, “I can find a way somehow...”
