After eating, we immediately went home for Lux to rest up. It was pretty clear to us just how tired he was.
“The first time I went on a school trip – I went home just to sleep for 10 hours,” Asher remarked as he chuckled – I frowned, “Eyes on the road, babe.”
Asher is driving us to the house whilst Lux rests his head on my shoulder – he said he hated laying on my lap whilst the car was moving, it made him dizzy.
I held his head with my right hand, making sure he wouldn’t fall over or hit his head on the window.
“I’m glad Lux took the news well, I thought some sort of drama was going to happen – especially after laughing like that,” Asher said – he just can’t focus on driving, he has to do something other than the thing he is supposed to be focusing on.
“Yeah, I would’ve stopped the wedding myself if he said no,” I jokingly said as I looked at him for his reaction. He only pouted as he chuckled, “That’s not fair!”
