“Please don’t strain yourself too much, madame. It is not good for the baby,” the doctor remarked as he wrote down a prescription and some things for me to remember.
I nodded my head as I was still stressed out about Lux’s situation.
Jaughnn managed to find an organ donor pretty quickly – it was a 5-year-old boy whom died in an accident. His parents had signed him up as an organ donor, miraculously, he also matched with Lux’s blood type.
They told me Lux was out of danger – however, he has not woken up.
Even when I insisted on staying at the hospital, Jaughnn stopped me as he said I needed maximum rest.
“Your daughter is very healthy as of right now, thankfully, we don’t have to worry about anything,” the doctor added and I merely nodded – taking the paper he handed me.
“Thank you,” I said as I exit the room immediately. He looked like he wanted to say more, however, I was just not in the mood to listen.
