Jason POV
"Where is Maria Smith's room?" asked Mrs. Theresia to the nurse, who was on duty at the nurse's station.
While Paris stood beside Mrs. Theresa, she's been a lot quieter these days. Since this morning, when I picked her up, she didn't look as cheerful as usual.
"In the Rose Room, two hundred and three," said the nurse after checking the patient register. The nurse pointed the way to the room she was referring to. "Only tomorrow left, then after a few rooms ahead, you can turn right, and the Rose Room is not far from there." The nurse told us the exact location we were going to.
After saying, "Thank you," we immediately rushed to the intended place.
The room there is bright, the hospital has good lighting.
However, when I wanted to walk towards Maria's place, my legs suddenly couldn't move. I felt a strange heartbeat.
What is this! I asked myself; this is not as usual.
