Chapter 49 The Bread and the Drink

I don't know how long we walked, but they didn't feed us at all. My body has started to weaken, while the day has become night.

Why so far away? I thought. I looked around me and didn't know where this was. This forest was so vast, and the laboratory premises seemed to be in another dimension beyond this forest.

"Let's rest here first," said Tiffany in a cold voice.

Tiffany's men immediately shouted at us, "Stop here!"

I sighed. My throat is dry, and we are not given any water at all. My vision felt a little faded because my head already needed food to walk. If they're still forcing me to walk, it looks like I'll pass out on the street.

"Take them to three different trees and tie them there!" Tiffany ordered again, which was immediately carried out obediently by her men.

Maria tugged at the rope that bound me, the tug almost made me fall. "You heard, where are you going! If so then you should hurry up! Don't be like a slug!"
