Chapter 2

Mr. Vishnu looked at Andy with a condescending look. From the beginning, he did not like Andy, precisely when Andy refused to divorce Luna and did not accept the offer to marry Cindy. As a result, Cindy married Fajar, who divorced Cindy a few years ago.

Damn it! Growled Mr. Vishnu. Even Andy is currently daring to embarrass himself in public, and that men don't know how to pay the kindness!

"Go from this room!" Mr. Vishnu ordered Andy to leave the room immediately. "Make sure you manage the administrative matters with the personnel department! From today you can no longer work in this company. Even if you try to apply for a job at another Hinata Group, I can confirm that your name is blocked!"

Andy's heart was torn apart. It was not the promotion he received today, but quite the opposite. He's fired! His heart was shattered into pieces. Both his twin children are sixteen years old, and they need a lot of money for college fees. Andy's face was stiff, and his eyes didn't even blink at all. His body was weak, and his legs could no longer move. This punishment is too sadistic. He really couldn't imagine Luna's reaction when Luna heard this news.

"Go out!" shouted Mr. Vishnu again, "Solve your administrative problems right now! You have not compensated anything! Your attitude is too impudent towards the company! You were dishonorably fired!" Andy blinked twice, trying to understand what was going on with him. With unsteady steps, Andy left the room. His heart was bitter. He had never felt as miserable as he did now.

His phone vibrated, but his mind was too cluttered. He didn't pick up his phone. The road to the personnel room was long and so torturous. He had solved the administrative problem; according to Mr. Vishnu's orders, he got nothing. He was like a slumdog that was kicked out of a big company. No compensation or any money he got from the company.

"Why is life so unfair?" Andy was already at a karaoke place. He spent his time alone there. He had been staring blankly at the ceiling for more than three hours, several women came to seduce him, offered him a drink, but Andy didn't respond at all to their presence. Andy just stared at the ceiling with a split heart. He rarely goes to a karaoke place; the last time he came to a karaoke place was eleven years ago; ever since he met Luna, every day was filled with happiness until the catastrophe happened. Luna is pregnant and expelled from school; the whole family asks Luna to abort the fetus in Luna's womb. Andy hesitated; this was his fault for not controlling himself, thus making Luna pregnant out of the marriage. Andy was so surprised when he found out that the fetuses in Luna's stomach were twins. He had to find food for his two children, buy everything he needed for the twins, while Andy had not yet graduated from college. He tries to apply at Cindy's father's company. Cindy loves Andy, but unfortunately, Andy only has Luna in his heart; he never opened his heart to another woman.

With a heavy heart, Cindy begged her father, Mr. Vishnu, to accept Andy.

"I can make you the head of the company in one or two years, as long as you want to divorce your wife and marry Cindy, my daughter." Seventeen years ago, Mr. Vishnu said so, but Andy refused. He can't make Luna a widow, and her children don't have a father figure.

Andy sighed; he really couldn't believe what had happened to him today.

It was already eleven o'clock, and he had been there almost all day. Heartbroken, Andy decided to go home and tell his wife nicely about everything that had happened today.

He uses public transportation and returns home.

When Andy returns home, a blunt object hits him in the face. "What are you doing that you don't pick up my phone!" shouted Luna angrily. The thirty-six-year-old woman, who still looked beautiful despite her unkempt appearance, was panting heavily. Her shoulders heaved up and down with emotion, her eyes wide. "You know, Reno hit his friend and one of us was asked to come to school! But no one came to school to meet the teacher! So his friend's parents reported Reno to his lawyer!" Luna was so emotional, and she took her anger out on Andy. "Why are you so selfish! Is it only your work that matters, so you don't care about the work of your wife and even your children!" Luna took things around her, and she threw them at Andy.

"What the hell are you!" Andy shouted; he didn't understand why Luna was so angry with him. "Why can't you talk about it calmly!" Andy quickly dodged when a plate shattered on the floor near where he had been standing before. His heart ached; he didn't understand why he was greeted with anger by his wife. What mistake has he made?

"Get out of here! Don't you ever set foot here again! Let me take care of the kids from now on!" Luna glared menacingly at Andy, her eyes already wet and red. Her heart ached because Andy didn't pick up her phone, which got their son into legal trouble. Luna took whatever was on the dining table, threw it right at Andy's feet.

"Awww!" Andy lifted his leg, and he was in pain because of the thing Luna had just thrown. His brow furrowed deeper. "What is this? You can talk about it nicely!" Andy's heart is getting more and more irritated, he has just had a bitter day at the office, and at this time, he is getting an unpleasant welcome from his wife.

"I'm sick of living with you and all your selfishness! You're just a selfish being who doesn't want to know about family! I'm sick of living with you! Get out of the house tonight, and we'll get our divorce papers right away!"

Andy rolled his eyes, seeing Rena, one of his twin children, who had just come out of his room. He glanced at Andy briefly and then looked away from the other way. "Rena!" call Andy. "Please tell Daddy, what is this?"

However, Rena ignored Andy; she walked into the kitchen, after that rushed into the room, and slammed the door.

"You never know what is going on in this family! Do you know what problems Rena has been facing all this time!" Luna wiped the tears that were running down her face. Andy's heart ached; he felt like a failure as a father. His children don't love him, and his wife is disappointed; the company he works for sees him as trash. His chest felt tight, and he could no longer breathe the same air as his wife. He and Luna have had many different thoughts; if he had accepted an offer from Mr. Vishnu to marry Cindy and divorced Luna seventeen years ago, surely things would not be like they are today.

"Get out of here! I don't want to see your face in this house anymore!" As Luna spoke thus, Reno came out of his room.

"Stop it! You are all noisy! You two are selfish parents! I wish I had never been born to parents like you!" Reno shouted and immediately went back into his room with the sound of the door slamming.

"Reno!" shouted Luna; she immediately chased Reno into her son's room. Luna's eyes were red from not stopping crying.

Andy's heart broke. He couldn't think of anything but to feel like a failure as a father.
