The atmosphere in the room was tense. No one dared to open their mouth. They did not know what formula they should use at this point.
Mr. Dany's question is very complex, he doesn't just ask about one component, but he combines it and makes the problem very difficult.
They asked who student here was too intelligent to answer Mr. Dany in their hearts.
"So what's your answer, Andy?" asked Mr. Dany.
In the future, Andy found out that the question was for the magister level; Mr. Leo, a graduate with a master's degree in economics, once when they together, and Mr. Leo was very busy, while he was an assignment for his magister task, he came to Andy and asked, "Can you do this? I'm swamped. Can you find the answer, please?" Then Andy started looking for it in a search engine, and he found the answer to that question. Andy saw that Mr. Dany, his former lecturer, wrote the answer. It was the same question that he got today.
Andy studied it carefully, and he just understood what Mr. Dany teach.
The atmosphere was still tense, and the other students glanced at their friends besides each other; their eyebrows twitched as if to ask, "Can you do it?" Then the others answered by shaking their heads and whispered, "Are you crazy! That's a tough question. The only one who could answer that question, it's only Mr. Dany."
"How about Andy? What's the answer then?" Mr. Dany waited for Andy's answer.
Andy doubt to answer, but in the future, he had studied well about the question, then he really understood now about the question.
He remembered again when Mr. Leo asked him, "Have you finished my task?"
Andy shook his head and said, "Yes, I have done. Actually, I am surprised that you are lucky, my former lecturer has written the solution to your problem, and you know what, that the questions given by your lecturer are exactly the same as the questions answered by my former lecturer when I was still a graduate."
"Really?" Mr. Leo didn't believe what Andy said, but he became very happy. "Thank you very much."
Now, when Mr. Dany was still waiting, he tried to answer the test. "The answer to that question is that it can be seen from the linear equation that is formed if you know the cut on one axis (a) and the slope of the line (b) that satisfies the equation..." Andy was still talking while his other friends looked at Andy in such amazement, their mouths were wide open.
"...." Mr. Dany even did not make a sound at all. His mouth was wide open, and he couldn't believe it even though he had combined the questions so that the question was complicated, and for an undergraduate student like Andy, it was not his part, but the fact Andy can do it.
Andy looked around him, and he noticed that his friends still didn't understand what he had just said, so he thought he should explain it upfront.
In the future, Mr. Leo said to him, "This is an issue that is very relevant to my current job. But you know I'm busy and can't do it right now, and I should have it in an hour. So, Andy, I know what you're capable of. Can you help me out when I'm in a hurry? This is the question." Andy kept remembering Mr. Leo that this question is essential for a manager and very relevant to the job because that Andy feels the need to explain it in more detail, so he immediately raises his hand and asks, "Can I explain it upfront?" All his friends were still wide-eyed; they really couldn't believe what Andy had just explained. So long and so detailed. The answer was straightforward, and they understood every explanation that Andy said.
Mr. Dany was the same. He still couldn't believe that Andy's explanation was correct and no harm in it. So when Andy asked, "Can I explain it upfront?" Mr. Dany could only blink his eyes a few times, then shook his head as if wishing he would regain consciousness, and stammered, "P-please."
So Andy walked forward, and he took the marker in the whiteboard holder. He wrote down complex linear equations, which silenced the class, and only Andy's voice echoed at that moment. After five minutes of running linear equations and formulas for the cut and slope of the line and ending with Andy's voice saying, "This is the answer," there was still silence. Only the sound of flies flying over Andy's head could be heard at that moment.
Andy turned around, and he looked at his friend. "Was my answer wrong?" he asked his friends cluelessly.
They all sat looking at Andy with an indescribable look. They shook their heads at the same time and said, "You are amazing." They said that because they didn't know whether the answer was correct or not, they thought why Andy explained to them in such detail that they could understand every word Andy was explaining.
However, confirmation from Mr. It was Dany who said, "Yes, that is indeed the answer. Now explain to me where did you get this answer?" Mr. Dany was still in his place with suspicious eyes. He did plan to upload it on his blog. Mr. Dany is a lecturer who likes to share his knowledge with his students; his dedication to science is very high, but for this matter, he has never published it. Then why did Andy finish it? he asked himself.
"I studied it with a friend," Andy replied. The friend Andy meant was Mr. Danny himself. In the future, Andy had learned the answer from Mr. Dany.
"Who is your friend?" urged Mr. Dany; he must know who Andy's friend is who is so intelligent that he can solve the story problem.
Andy gulped, and with a smile, he said, "A brilliant friend."
Mr. Dany's face blushed because he was defeated by someone else, then Mr. Dany promised himself that he would no longer feel like the most intelligent person in the world from now on.
Then Andy sat down, and grunts started to come from his seat.
"Do you understand what Andy explained just now?" whispered the woman sitting two rows in front of Andy.
"I understand very well. He explained it in great detail, so I can clearly understand what he just explained."
"I've written it down, and I hope we won't get exam questions like this. It's tough."
"Yes, and Andy can work it out."
The whispers were still heard for the next few minutes.
When the lesson had started, Fajar felt his cellphone vibrate. He opened his phone and was immediately shocked. "I have to go home tonight, my mother is in the hospital, and there's no one to look after her." Fajar's voice sounded sad; Tony and Andy tried to comfort him.
Fajar sighed as he said, "I have to go home while I have a private student I need to attend."
Andy understands. Life has taught him many things, one of which is: family comes first. His mother died a few years ago, and Andy regretted it very much because when his mother was admitted to the hospital, Andy angrily replied, "I have to work late. I can't make it there. Maybe in two days, I will." His mother's age never reached that night. His mother died that night. Remembering that, Andy immediately said, "You don't have to worry. I'll take care of them all while you go to your mother."
But then Fajar remembered a girl named Luna whom he had to teach. Fajar was very restless.
Damn, Andy can't teach Luna.
