That was quick, perhaps Hiro really just made a quick input of her on the day's schedule. But she had no time to waste, so she called in one of the family drivers to prepare for her departure. The make up isn't needed, Hiro knows and already saw how ugly she was in some days, surely he'd understand and she can guess that Hiro is meeting her barefaced too.
Just as she was outside their estate's threshold and waiting for the car, her eyes caught that fancy bright red car. It wasn't hers, nor she was sure that it wasn't Freyr's as he had no taste in such sports cars. For sure it wasn't her mother's then it leaves...that's host club boy. He was clad in an extravagant clothes even, those expensive branded Italian wear tailored to perfection to hug the man's fine and broad body. She had seen him clad into good clothes before, naked even, but it justifies the accusation she first jabbed on to her mother.
She knew it. Her mother was probably buying this man extravagant things, she lied about that fact!
"Her love doesn't have a price huh? Bullshit."
The car itself was already an eyesore, bright red that will pop up that it can beat the red lights, even a blind man can see it. Half a million that will hurt one's brain, probably just a coin for them but what matter to Freyja the most is the fact that her mother was spending THAT much for a man. Okay, lets say she too spent money for Sebastian as a host that will entertain him for a night, but she didn't go over the budget..or did she? She's pretty sure she never gifted him anything besides some good perfume of the scent she loved that she soaked on every time they make love. Or that wrist watch that she gifted on his birthday where she exactly rented him for his day off that costed twice his original service price.
Okay, dammit she really did bought much, but never that much like her mom! There could have been more if she investigated all his belongings!
Now that she thought of it she hadn't crossed paths with Sebastian on the hallway, nor that get up is the clothes he was wearing at breakfast. Probably went through the other door, that's why she didn't meet him halfway. But if she did, she'll probably berate him again now with the presence of their mother yet again. That sharp get up he wore will surely lead to a socialite party to enjoy himself, and feel like a part of those rich people, could have been seducing other women for his extra income too. The thought alone of him flirting with other women made her blood boil. Isn't their mother with loads of wealth for a normal person's lifetime enough for him?
As if it's the biggest mockery out there that her blood is boiling in anger, he drove in front of her, bringing down the roof of his car and sunglasses framing his eyes, yet those shining sharp colored eyes still accented behind those light colored sunglass.
"Wanna ride? I can get you in whatever place you're planning to go to. It saves some gas and carbon on the way through, I know you're an environmental advocate." So he still remembers that part, that she always loaded herself into car shares and cheap uber, a bicycle even, despite being rich to take oath on her love for nature that she continuously donates and advocates to preserve.
"No, thank you."
It was a straight rejection, but that just opted for Sebastian to stifle a laugh. My, my. What an attitude she's really trying to keep up just to show him disapproval. She's really different when she's mad, unlike before where she's such a sweet woman for him that clings for love. He already assumed that she's a strict woman by her work background, rarely emotional, and he's getting a taste of her other side that was rare just like before.
"Why are you laughing, Sebastian?" Freyja can see nothing ridiculous about her, nor what she said and that laugh was really getting on her nerves. Does he think it's so fun ridiculing her? After all that stress and heartbreak he had to give her? OR this very moment that she's mad and still insulting her? The nerve!
"Shut it. Just drive and go to your elite social circle."
"I'm not even going there, Frigga wouldn't like it and I promised her to not be apart of it. I'm about to meet my friends who just happened to come here in the country."
"I'm not dumb, even a meet up with your 'friends' that are probably hosts like you in London might include other women."
"Why do you assume there will be another women? Is there a problem if there are also some of my female friends like the waitresses and hostesses of the club will come? You know they're nice. You've met them, they're like family to me too."
"Oh so now you're opening opportunities for them too? Fine by me. But whatever, go whenever you want, do what you want as long as you still get does funds from my mother go ahead and savor all of it."
"Why are you so harsh to me? I've never done anything to you yet—not unless you count our truce at London that was straight out business as you wanted to term it."
Oh wow, what a shitty drama about being harsh to him. Of course she is, he wanted him..wanted him away! Sebastian's cognitive functioning might have been haywired, he can't seem to just understand that she is rallying off his presence the whole time, he wanted him out of her mother's life. All he would do was to break her heart along the way! He's a young man, of course who would get fooled that he'll love a woman twice his age? He's bound to get some mistress around his age!
"Why are you so fucking annoying? Just go, might as well never return!" Annoyingly she spat back, with brows knitted together.
He smiled, a warm smile it is. He's kind of hurt by the harsh rejection, but that was just fueling him more, he had never seen her so mad before! Not when she's there on his arms and flailing her arms for an embrace and a pouty face for a kiss. He wanted more of that reaction even though it hurts, not even under twenty four hours she's flaming him in different ways already.
"Why do you throw a question on another question?"
"Why do you ask if no one's asking?"
"Why are you so angry?"
"Why do you think I'm angry?"
"I don't deserve your kind of treatment."
"You don't deserve anything at all."
Freyja can keep the argument going all day if she wants, even until the sugar boy gets tired and cries. But she had to see Hiro before ten, and probably this encounter is something she'll additionally rant about.
"I thought we are on good terms now? Your mother said so."
" My mother views things in a different perspective. What I feel is different from what she feels."
"So why don't you just be transparent?"
"If you don't get my message earlier in the table, might as well invest in education rather than buying that nonsense foolishness of yours."
"I'm educated enough to be kind and hospitable to people, its just that you're keeping up so much walls in you that you don't even let me explain things through. You're a living brazen wall, Freyja."
That was her last straw that she raised her hand again to slap him, only to be caught by him. His hands were holding tight, Freyja trying to be let go, only to no avail.
"You little shit—"
"Freyja, if only you'll be willing to learn and listen..I'll tell you all the reasons why I'm here."
He pulled her close, Freyja just on time held into the frame of the car door to stop herself from stumbling inside the vehicle. Sebastian pressed his lips against her ear, and whispered oh so sweetly;
"Those reasons are important to me. Even you are a part of the reason of it."
Freyja cannot help but to feel the heat rush up onto his cheeks, her knees weak from that voice that swam onto her ear and might as well imprint on her brain. Sebastian's warm breath was spine tingling, making her shiver softly that all it lacks was a moan from her that she successfully stopped herself from doing so.
Fuck. He still had his effect on her!
With Sebastian's hand loose with a sly smile on his face, Freyja drew herself back and even stumbled on her heels like a child. Watching her flustered face, Sebastian could easily say the experiment was a success—his charms would always work on her no matter what.
"Seemed like you're still processing it, Freyja?"
"Y-you.."
"I wanted a chance to tell you, hopefully I will the next time you finally tried to lend an ear for me."
"What—"
"You need time to rest again, don't you? I guess I need to drop my offer on driving you to places if that's the case. My time is running too, have a good time."
"Wait!"
"Ciao."
As if it was a flash, his car went off fast with one loud broom. She was left there in dust, still processing everything that happened. It wasn't supposed to happen, she isn't supposed to fall prey again on his charms! That goddamn host! Freyja can see that not only Sebastian himself was the problem, herself too. That goddamn inner desire for him really transcends every time he's there—and Freyja could only realize it when it's done. That she fell prey again.
"What a big fucking trouble I'm in."
