Chapter 41: Not Her Anymore
DOMINIC PIERRE'S POV
"Hello. Good Morning. You may sit down." I stared at her once she entered the breakfast cafe that we are in right now. She didn't look like she had a good sleep or maybe she didn't sleep at all.
As she talked she remained stoic. "I'll go straight to ask you because I'm afraid I'll end up in a mental hospital... Do you know me?" I'm a bit surprised at how she is acting up right now.
I licked my lower lip and sat down on the chair on my back. She also did the same, in front of me.
"Well, Vella... I did know you."
"Please specify how much you know me. How much memory you remembered with me."
I smiled, but it seemed bitter because she raised one of her eyebrows at me. "We are married."
"We were, Dominic." She corrected me. Ohh goodness how could she change like this. Does that six years really change her?
