Ava stayed alone for minutes and stared blankly at the door of Alpha Drake's bedroom.


"Did I tell him I wanted to stay here?" she wondered as soon as Drake left the room. Immediately panic gripped her.


"What have I done?" Ava wonders and starts wandering around the room.


"And what alternatives did we have?" Angel asks her.


"Yes, I know, but still ... What if I hurried?" Ava can't help but wonder, realizing that she accepted Drake's offer to join the pack without blinking, but she doesn't have time to worry too much, as soon as the door opens again and Alpha Drake nods to her to follow him.
