Next day, in the morning, Ava woke up and she is feeling invigorated. Gently opening her eyes, she sees her hand on Drake's chest.


"He's still asleep," she says in her mind, without lifting her head from Drake's chest. She just stays there and listens to his heartbeat which is the most beautiful song for her.


Gently stroking his chest, Ava felt tears begin to flow easily.


"Drake, please… wake up .. please, don't let me alone" she says slowly, believing that Drake is still unconscious but immediately shudders when Drake's hand grabs her hand in his.


"I am here," he says calmly. "I am here, just near you"


And when she heard his voice so clear she raised her head with nervousness only to find him looking right into her eyes.


And there was no distance between them. The universe just stopped for them. Ava imagined this reunion countless times, she thought that he would attack her, or even reject her for letting him alone for so much time, or even reject her.
