Zachary Cavalier was a tyrant.

At least that was what Trish had convinced herself as she stared at the unappetizing mess on her plate.

“I’m not gonna eat this,” she scowled. “Give me back my burger.” To be honest, she didn’t want it all that much; it was the principle of the thing.

“No,” Zachary said. “You eat too much unhealthy food.”

“I happen to like my unhealthy food. One burger won’t kill me.”

“One burger won’t, but Lydia told me all you eat is fast food and sweets.”

Trish raised her chin a notch. “So what? I’m young, I have a fast metabolism, I train every day—well, I used to—”

“You’ll thank me when you’re older,” Zachary said. “A regular fare of unhealthy foods can do more than raise your cholesterol and blood pressure levels. Processed meat can increase the risk for diabetes, heart disease, and a few types of cancer. Actually, eating a burger every day can increase your risk of cancer by twenty—”

“I feel so sorry for your fiancee. Poor woman. To marry such a bore.”
