Chapter 25 Plot Twist

When Noe came out of the restaurant, she received a call from Lawrence.

"Can you see a red car across the street? Come here, quick!" With that, Lawrence hung up the phone.

Indeed, Noe spotted a red car across the street. When she looked over in her direction, the car honked twice.

After scanning the surroundings, Noe trotted across the street and climbed into the passenger seat of the car.

While starting the car, Lawrence asked Noe, "How was it? Did everything go well?"

A movie that Lawrence starred in had just been released lately. Although it was a niche movie, it had drawn a large audience. Worried that she would be recognized, Lawrence waited for Noe outside the restaurant.

Noe replied with a smile, "It went smoothly."

For so many years, Vivi had been treating Noe as a pushover, not taking her seriously at all. Naturally, she let her guard down while facing Noe. She would never expect it was a trap set by Noe.

"But there might be some changes to the plan." Noe spoke.
