Chapter 62 Revenge on her

Noe had been thinking about cooking for 'Evan'. After all, it was what she had promised him.

But once they entered the shopping mall, Noe had been dragged by her colleagues to try out different clothes.

When the sky was about to get dark, Noe came up with an excuse. "I'm so tired. Shall we take a rest?"

Then, they found a place to have some drinks.

Noe took out her phone and saw two missed calls from 'Evan'.

'Evan' was an impatient man. Therefore, she was surprised that he would call her twice. She could even imagine how furious he looked after the second call was not picked up.

Noe stood up and said, "I'm sorry. I've got to go as something comes up. Thank you for everything today. I'll treat you all to a meal next time."

After leaving the shopping mall, she called 'Evan' back while walking to the bus stop.

The call was answered in just a short while.

"Where are you?"

There was an eerie feeling in his voice. Obviously, he was not in a good mood.
