Charles was silent for a moment before he said in an upright tone, "I've bumped into her once."
Theo replied in a cold voice, "She is my wife, Noe William."
"Yeah, I know." Charles's voice suddenly became a bit misty.
Theo frowned. He moved his lips, but no words came out. In the end, he hung up the call without saying anything.
The next morning.
Noe got up and made breakfast. When she saw 'Evan' coming down, she couldn't help recalling what happened the day before.
As she served breakfast, she stole a glance at 'Evan'.
Theo was looking down at his phone. He picked his glass up and took a sip of water.
"Why are you peeking at me?" he asked suddenly.
Raising her eyebrows, Noe shot him a provocative look, "You look rather pale. Want me to make you some ginseng soup?"
Theo paused and looked at her with a smirk. "You are the only woman in this house. What's your intention for feeding me with those?"
Noe gave him a fierce stare before returning to the kitchen.
