Chapter 37 Letting her leave

[Okay, it's at the coffee shop near the university.  Are you on your way?  Asuna Komatsu is fine, we have thought too much.]

Kaya Jones heard that her sister was safe and breathed a sigh of relief, her slightly tense nerves also stabilized.  Once she was bitten by a snake and was afraid of ropes all her life, every time she mentioned Charlize Diaz, she thought he was about to do something harmful.  Fortunately, this time Asuna Komatsu wasn't as troubled as last time.

She told the driver the address and then instructed Dune Livana:

“Um, that's fine.  Now I'll go over there to pick up Asuna Komatsu, you can book a ticket for me."

The other end of the line was silent for a moment and then said: [Can I not go?]

Dune Livana's voice became heavy, causing Kaya Jones' mood to drop.  She closed her eyes, adjusted her breathing, and smiled.
